This years book back drive was a huge success, we were able to donate 85 book backs, exceeding our goal. We arrived to the location in Newark where we met the children and their families and donated a book back for each child as well as reading books. It was very special to see the excitement in the kids when they were able to choose thir book back and books to take home and read. other organizations joined the event and brough games and other products for the families. Thank you for all of your donations.

During the month of August IN Your Hands lend a hand to a senior center in Cali, Colombia. This is an initiative we have always done for the children in venezuela, but this year our doors were knocked by this senior center and after seeing the condition of these granies and Pops, we could not look the other way, so we decided to send some support. We were able to provide shoes for 350 "abuelitos", and as we all know one day we all become children again, so bringing some happiness and smiles to these "abuelitos' faces was priceless.
