Book Bag Drive Project

 IYH arrived at Georgia King Village in Newark, NJ around noon this past Saturday to distribute 150 backpacks to the children in this community.  The families and children were ready to sign up for their free back pack full of school supplies to start their 2018-2019 school year with the necessary materials.  

The event was a very inspiring event, the families and children were very happy and thankful for their back pack, they signed up at our tent and at 3:00 lined up with their tickets to claim their back pack.
The faces, reactions and smiles of the children were priceless.  

As always we thank all of our supporters, special thanks to Hapag-Lloyd for organizing the school drive and collecting a lot of supplies,  thank you to whomever took their time to place orders online , or donated money so we could complete all of the 150 back packs  with  the supplies.
